BL49 was preparing for a return feeder service on the 310 to Wood Green, and RML2613 came panting in on the last 390 from Stevenage.
RF633 was being loaded with the CBR equipment ready for its long run back to Sussex, and RF627 was waiting for me, for the long trip back to the West Midlands.
Many thanks to all who participated in the event, especially the CBR team for organising it, the owners, drivers and conductors who made the buses run, the controllers, the programme team, the information stand operators, plus all those who gave the relevant permissions, including the police, the local authorities, bus companies, insurers.... - and to all those good-tempered passengers who didn't spend the entire journey grousing about this, that or the other. Especial thanks to Ken for his hospitality on RF627 - and yes, we did overtake another moving Pendolino, near Milton Keynes Station!
