London & Country

London & Country seemed to like the Dormobile body for the short-wheelbase 709D, buying several batches.

402-405 were bought in September 1992. These four had rear doors and tail-lifts, with seating reduced to 25, for use on access-contracted routes such as Richmonds R61, which was operated from an outstation in Hounslow.

154-157 were four 27-seaters, bought in the early summer of 1993 and scattered round the system for small-bus operations.

421-427 were another seven tail-lift-fitted buses, bought in September 1993.

428-429 were another pair bought at the end of 1993, with 27-seater Danescroft bodies.

132 was bought second-hand from Stevenson's of Uttoxeter in September 1994.
